Hello everyone!
In 5 days I will be sitting on a plane and heading to Germany! I am both nervous and excited and can't believe how quickly the time has come for my departure. I have been reluctant to pack so as to deny the glaring fact that I am about to leave all family, friends and familiarity for the great unknown for the next 4 months! As frightening as this may seem, I am also incredibly excited for my experiences abroad and incredibly thankful for the family and friends I have back home supporting me! So, if you are one of those family members or friends, please feel free to periodically follow my adventures on this blog (which I hope to update regularly...we'll see how that goes). I'm hoping to grow both academically and personally from this experience and truly hope to maximize on all opportunities that come my way and am looking forward to sharing it all with you!
